Shueisha Logos and Brands
The Japanese publishing house Shueisha, founded in 1925 and producing some of the most widely circulated manga magazines in the world, defines the content of the “Shueisha” section. Weekly Shōnen Jump, the publisher’s flagship magazine, gave the world Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, whose logos have become pop culture icons far beyond Japan. Shueisha is one of the three largest manga publishers, along with Kodansha and Shogakukan, and millions of readers associate the company’s logo with the weekly release of new chapters. The brands in this section represent a publishing empire whose products generate billions through print runs, anime adaptations, merchandise, and mobile apps.
