Party of God Logos and Brands
The Arabic word “Hezbollah” translates as “Party of God,” and the “Party Of God” section is dedicated to the symbolism of the Lebanese Shiite military-political group. Founded in 1982 with the support of Iran at the height of the civil war in Lebanon, the organization combines an armed wing, parliamentary representation, and a social infrastructure of schools and hospitals. The emblem features a stylized hand raising an AK-47 assault rifle and Arabic lettering. The US, the European Union, and several other countries classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, while other countries recognize only its military wing. This section captures the symbolism of one of the most influential non-state armed groups in the Middle East.
