Schutzstaffel Logos and Brands
The paramilitary organization of Nazi Germany is the subject of the section “Schutzstaffel,” which analyzes SS symbolism in a historical context. The organization’s visual symbol, the double “sieg” rune, is among the most odious symbols of the 20th century and is banned in several countries. The section examines the origin and evolution of the emblem as part of the study of historical propaganda and the visual identification of totalitarian structures. The analysis of such symbols is educational and documentary, allowing us to understand how visual signs were used to build an ideological system and foster a cult of belonging to an elite formation.
