Hansa, a prominent appliance manufacturing company, was established in Wronki, Poland, in 1945. The company’s beginnings were rooted in two factories, Predom-Wromet Heating Equipment and Wromet Kitchen Products, which initially focused on producing stoves and ovens.

The enterprise underwent a significant transformation in 1992 following privatization, which led to a reorganization and subsequent renaming to Hansa. In line with its new identity, Hansa broadened its product offering to incorporate major appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and gas cookers.

Hansa’s products, predominantly sold under the company’s namesake brand, are widely available across Poland and Europe. With a heritage in gas cooker manufacturing over 75 years, Hansa is a seasoned player in the appliance industry.

Today, the company employs approximately 2,000 individuals across its factories and offices in Poland. Hansa focuses on delivering reliable, mid-range appliances at competitive prices and caters primarily to the mass market. Although it may not have a dominant global presence, the company has carved out a steady position as a supplier of Polish-made appliances to European households over several decades.

In response to evolving trends, Hansa has recently incorporated more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products into its portfolio. This move reflects Hansa’s commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and contributing to the sustainability of the environment.
