Moulinex, a renowned French brand, manufactures kitchen and small household appliances. Established in 1932 by Jean Mantelet in Normandy, France, the company’s first products were food mills and coffee grinders.

The brand pioneered the French market by introducing modern kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, mixers, blenders, and food processors. It earned acclaim for innovative offerings such as the Chauffe-Plats warming tray and the Robot-Coupe food processor.

In 1973, Moulinex became a part of Brandt Appliances. Later, Groupe SEB took ownership, and it remains its parent company today. The company’s extensive product lineup includes kitchen devices such as juicers, kettles, irons, and deep fryers. In some markets, Moulinex also offers floor care appliances.

As of 2020, the company boasted a global workforce of over 1000 employees. It maintains manufacturing facilities in France and China. Moulinex enjoys a solid market presence in France, where it is widely recognized as a household name for kitchen appliances.

However, the path isn’t easy. The brand faces stiff competition from other European appliance manufacturers, including Tefal, “Lagrange”, and Kenwood. Moulinex’s continued success can be attributed to its focus on designing user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing products that are perfect for modern kitchens.
