To the right of the figure is a maroon square with a neatly placed monogram “USA.” The white serif letters reflect the team’s connection to the university’s academic traditions. A thin blue border frames the square.

2008 – today
The new South Alabama Jaguars logo appeared in 2008. It features a stylized jaguar head in white, blue, and red, replacing the previous realistic image.

The contour lines are smooth and fluid, with blue detailing that contrasts with the main white tone and emphasizes the predator’s silhouette.
