Oakland Logos and Brands
The city of Oakland in the San Francisco Bay Area, across the bridge from the financial towers of downtown SF, defines the Oakland section. The Oakland Athletics (MLB), moving to Las Vegas after decades of stadium disputes, and the Golden State Warriors, who left Oracle Arena in Oakland for Chase Center in San Francisco in 2019, are the city’s most famous sports brands. The Oakland Raiders (NFL), who moved to Las Vegas in 2020, left the city with nostalgia for the “black hole” era and Al Davis.
