Organizations that protect the rights and interests of people with disabilities are included in the “People With Disabilities” section. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC), with three “agitos” on its emblem, Special Olympics, the National Federation of the Blind, and Disability Rights Advocates work on accessibility, employment, and participation in public life. The International Symbol of Access, a stylized figure in a wheelchair, has been redesigned in the Accessible Icon Project, where the static figure has been replaced with a dynamic one. The logos in this section represent movements and institutions working to achieve an inclusive environment for more than a billion people with disabilities worldwide.
