state-owned corporation Logos and Brands
Large state-owned corporations operating on commercial principles but under state control are included in the “State-Owned Corporation” section. Rosatom (nuclear energy, Russia), China State Construction Engineering, Indian Railways, EDF (Électricité de France), and Enel (Italy) manage national-scale infrastructure. Unlike small state-owned enterprises, state corporations in this section operate on budgets in the tens of billions of dollars and operate in international markets. The logos of state corporations feature state symbols, national coats of arms, and industrial imagery. At the same time, the brands denote structures in which state ownership is combined with global competition for contracts and markets.
