Tasmania Logos and Brands
The island state of Australia, separated from the mainland by Bass Strait, is known as “Tasmania.” The Tasmanian devil, the world’s largest predatory marsupial, has become the state’s symbol and the Looney Tunes mascot (Taz). Tourism Tasmania promotes the island through MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), wildlife, and gastronomic tourism. Cricket Tasmania and Hobart Hurricanes (BBL) represent the sporting component. Tasmanian salmon (Huon Aquaculture, Tassal) is one of the key export products. The logos in this section are associated with a territory where 500,000 inhabitants live among temperate forests listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and isolation has preserved endemic species found nowhere else.
