Humanitarian organizations that help people in crises, from wars and natural disasters to poverty and hunger, are part of the “People In Need” section. The Czech NGO of the same name, Člověk v tísni (People in Need), founded in 1992, operates in dozens of countries, from Syria to Ethiopia. UNICEF, Oxfam, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) complete the pool of organizations assisting the most vulnerable populations. The logos in this section feature symbols of an outstretched hand, a globe, and children’s silhouettes, while the brands represent structures that transform donor contributions into food, shelter, and medicine for people who have lost everything.
