Zoetis, the world’s largest veterinary pharmaceutical company (spun off from Pfizer in 2013), Elanco Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, and IDEXX Laboratories produce vaccines, antiparasitic drugs, and diagnostic equipment. Pet insurance through Trupanion, Embrace, and Petplan is gaining momentum as veterinary services become more expensive. The logos in this section belong to companies serving a market in which the average US dog owner spends about $700 a year on veterinary care.
