Tallahassee Logos and Brands
The capital of Florida, with a population of around 200,000 and home to two major universities, is associated with the brands in the “Tallahassee” section. Florida State University (FSU), with the Seminoles and their iconic “tomahawk chop” cheer, is the city’s main sports brand. Florida A&M University (FAMU), one of the largest historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and Tallahassee Community College round out the academic component. The FSU Seminoles have won three national football championships (1993, 1999, 2013) under the leadership of Bobby Bowden and Jimbo Fisher. This section brings together logos from a city where university culture and state bureaucracy (the Florida Capitol) set the pace of life.
