Founded in the late 19th century by Franz-Anselm Viegener, Viega is a German enterprise known for its pipe fitting systems. Originating in Attendorn, Germany, in 1899, Viega has established itself as a specialist in manifold systems, metal press systems for various gases and liquids, and push-to-connect fittings.

Viega has made its mark with several pioneering advancements, including creating the first pressing jaw, introducing stainless steel pressed fittings, and developing the PEX piping system. Viega’s broad system solutions cater to diverse needs, from fire sprinklers and potable water to radiant heating systems.

Operating manufacturing facilities across the globe in countries such as Germany, the USA, China, and the Czech Republic, Viega is a global player in the pipe fitting market. While its headquarters remain in Attendorn, Germany, its workforce has grown to over 4,000 employees worldwide.

Maintaining its roots as a family business, Viega continues to be managed by the Viegener family, now in its fourth generation.
