The main change affected the shades. The blue deepened, and green became more vivid, strengthening the connection to nature and playing fields. Yellow is now brighter, and red has become more intense. These changes gave the logo a modern, dynamic look.

2013 – 2017

There is a new tournament and a new logo. While key elements from previous versions have been retained, the logo has been modernized and streamlined. The main difference is the new text arrangement: it is now outside the circle and to the right of the central symbol.

The central part of the logo is a baseball with red stitching, and the multicolored segments retain their shape.

The logo’s changes relate to the text. The “World Baseball Classic” inscription is now moved out of the circle and placed vertically to the right of the three-line symbol. Using a sans-serif font with bold adds a modern aesthetic to the logo. The letters have straight lines and balanced proportions.

The color palette remained the same. Blue, green, yellow, and red retain their values when depth is added.

2023 – today

The logo has been redesigned since 2023, and the changes are noticeable. The baseball is missing; it was in the previous versions. A white circle has replaced it, and a new visual composition surrounds it. The replacement made the design universal.

The basic structure with four colored segments has been preserved, but their design has become more complex. Segments now include additional inner layers in darker colors that extend from the main segment. Segments closer to the circle are the narrowest and darkest; as they move farther away, their size increases and their colors lighten.

The tournament’s color palette remained traditional: blue, green, yellow, and red. However, the colors appear more vibrant and voluminous due to the overlapping layers and gradients.

The text “World Baseball Classic” has moved to the right of the center character. It is in a bold, sans-serif font in dark blue. The tournament year 2023 is highlighted in orange.

The 2023 logo is a step forward in the development of the tournament’s visual style. We removed straightforward sports symbolism and added abstraction, volume, and movement. This gives the design a fresh look that corresponds to the tournament’s global status.
