The letters were given exact proportions and wider spacing, making the inscription appear lighter. The purple background that previously unified the text was removed, allowing each letter to stand on its own.

The panther’s head became cleaner and more compact. The facial lines were simplified, and the contours smoothed. A new yellow outline was added around the purple silhouette, enhancing contrast and emphasizing the form’s strength. The animal’s gaze remains intense, while the overall rhythm is calmer and more precise.

The color combination continues Northern Iowa’s tradition. The purple tone deepened and brightened, and the yellow gained greater density and a warmer hue.
