Safire Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Safire Logo New

Safire emerged from research and development conducted at the renowned Oak Ridge laboratory. The company focuses on technologies for defense and electric mobility. However, its unique innovation relates specifically to improving the safety and durability of batteries powering a wide array of devices and vehicles. The new branding, developed by Atlanta-based agency Matchstic, reflects the company’s shift from bold claims about the future toward tangible actions in the present.

While the previous Safire symbol was a simple letter “S” enclosed within a frame, the updated logo presents an entirely different perspective. The new emblem visually evokes a lightning strike as well as an upwardly soaring staircase, signifying the brand’s strength and its innovative potential. The logo is accompanied by a carefully designed typeface featuring ligatures, subtly alluding to the foundation of Safire’s technology.

Safire Logo Evolution

The brand’s visual style blends strict minimalism with the aesthetics of retrofuturism, inspired by science fiction from the 1960s. By employing pastel cream and black shades along with vibrant color transitions, the designers captured the energy and creativity that characterize the company. Balanced typography, combining elegant serif fonts with minimalist sans-serifs, emphasizes both the technical precision and inspiration behind every product.

Safire’s communication style echoes classic science fiction literature while maintaining a business-oriented and confident tone. The brand’s messaging remains clear, modern, and compelling, revealing to its audience the significance and reality of its discoveries. The central theme across all communication is the construction of an electric future rather than merely aspiring towards it.
