In Singapore, Zig is launching a new phase of operations alongside the overhaul of ComfortDelGro’s entire transportation network. ComfortDelGro announced the launch of the revamped brand on February 3, 2026. The company links this new step to the further development of its point-to-point services in Singapore. Under the Zig brand, the country’s largest taxi fleet, private hire services, corporate transportation, and the payment division, which were previously perceived as separate entities, are now being consolidated. The strategy is based on the idea of a clearer, more cohesive brand that can maintain the trust built by ComfortDelGro and steer the business toward a more flexible, technology-driven model. Within this framework, passengers can choose between regular taxis, six-seater vehicles, and executive limousines, while drivers and partners are integrated into a single system under a unified brand name.
At the logo level, the brand does not break ties with the previous version but rather refines it into a more vibrant, cohesive look. The icon is still based on a square with softly rounded corners. The blue background retains its central role, though the shade has become brighter. The word “zig” remains in the center. The white letters are still there, but the typeface has changed. Now the letters have a slight slant and sharper edges, making the whole word look livelier. The most noticeable change is to the letter “i.” The dot above it has turned yellow and become a small accent, enlivening the symbol and strengthening the brand’s connection to the transportation environment.
Compared to the previous version, the new logo looks more approachable for a mass-market service and closer to an everyday app. The earlier logo relied on soft symmetry and resembled tech services from the past decade. The current version feels simpler and more robust. ComfortDelGro isn’t abandoning its reputation as a reliable operator; rather, it’s translating that reputation into a more cohesive mobile platform that connects internal processes and the user experience under a single brand.
