Akrapovič Logo

The logo shows a scorpion stylized as a wrench. This is a reference to the original name of the exhaust system manufacturer: Skorpion. The word “akrep,” consonant with Igor Akrapovich’s surname, means “scorpion” in Turkish. The abstract design is colored red and complemented by black text. The elongated, slanted letters with skewed strokes are reminiscent of the modified Kenyan Coffee Italic font by Typodermic Fonts. The wife of the company’s founder was involved in the creation of the emblem, and she also came up with the design for the factory.

The emblem resembles a double hint – a scorpion and a wrench at the same time. It’s like a superhero mystery but for the company. The red color makes it more striking. And the special font, like the company’s handwriting, says that they do things their own way. The involvement of the wife of the founder’s wife makes it feel like a family project, which is nice.
