Bryant Bulldogs Logo History

This educational institution has two logos: the first was used when it was a college, and the second, the current one, appeared after it was elevated to university status. The main element of the logo is the English bulldog. The depicted dog has a real prototype named Tupper, chosen as the mascot by student vote in 1995. It was a gift from the university president, Ron Machtley. The bulldog was on duty, serving as “psychological support.”

Bryant University gained its new status in 2004, and in 2005, new symbolism appeared. The logo features a dog of the appropriate breed with sharp fangs, a menacing snarl, an intense gaze, and a light blue collar.
