The Google Meet logo is approximately the same as the icons of other related services that are part of the structure of the Internet giant. A member of the Google family uses a simple, clear, and multi-colored logo that is fully consistent with the target segment. Structuring is what the parent company gave him.

Meaning and History
The program appeared in the winter of 2017 and was available only by invitation, but in the spring, it was officially launched, after which it moved to the status of a public (Hangouts version). At first, the number of streams was smaller, but gradually the developers increased it so that a large number of users could participate in video conferences.
The improvement of the program functionality was activated during the coronavirus pandemic, reaching up to 250 people per session. For those who use the service for free, it is no more than 100 participants. Anyone who has an account in the Google system can resort to this service: a mailbox. They are allowed to initiate a call to share their desktop with the users on the other end of the video call.
During the spread of COVID-19, the number of people interested in using the Meet service has increased 30 times compared to before. A particular leap was noted in January-April 2020 when Google lifted the 60-minute limit for unpaid accounts. The content of the video meetings is broadcast in a protected mode. If you share a link to a specific video call, you can join it from any device – from a PC or laptop browser and a mobile application on a tablet or smartphone.
What is Google Meet?
Google Meet is a service for supporting online video communication and real-time meetings, conferences, and negotiations at a remote distance. The program was launched in 2017 and is designed to connect up to 250 participants simultaneously. It is designed for Web, Android, and iOS.
2017 – 2020
After the appearance of this independent application, it immediately received a visual identity mark. The debut version consisted of two equivalent elements: an old-style video camera and a classic dialogue bubble. The camera took center stage. She was in a round symbol, designed to accommodate the words or thoughts of the participants in the conversation. The video broadcasting equipment was painted in two colors: the upper half was gray, and the lower half was white. The background was a dark turquoise shade. The corners of the camcorder body were rounded, while the lens contained sharp corners and resembled a trapezoid located sideways.
2020 – today
The second Google Meet logo was fully customized by the parent company, using corporate colors to show that the service is part of its corporate portfolio. Moreover, the update affected the color component and the graphic one. The emblem is now a hollow cube with a beveled upper left corner. It is formed from three wide stripes (on the right side) and one triangle, one rectangle, and one square (left side) to form the camera’s body. Its design also includes a large triangle, divided by color into a mini-triangle and a trapezoid. They symbolize the lens. The device is located on a white background, without a dialog bubble.
Font and Colors
The standard versions of the Google Meet logo do not have the text part. The name of the service or other verbal information is found only in additional options – usually in clarifying ones. Their common element is a video camera. It is present both in the debut and in the modern version. Only her styles differ; the first logo is classic with hints of realism; the second is surreal with elements of cubism.
The text part of the logo is missing. But the color, on the contrary, is incredibly diverse, as are the graphics. To emphasize that Google is the parent company of this service, the designers focused on the palette. For the visual identity, they used similar corporate shades: red, green, blue, and yellow, and their variable combination in places where they overlap.
