Irkut Corporation, also known as JSC Irkut Corporation, is a Russian aircraft manufacturing company. Located in the Aeroport district of the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, the corporation is a well-known manufacturer of Su-30 interceptors and attack aircraft. The corporation’s history spans several decades, during which significant milestones in the global aviation industry were marked.
1932 – today
The centerpiece of this airplane manufacturer’s logo is the globe. It is located at the very center of the logo and is covered with a grid of meridians and parallels that are colored black. The background is a white space. On the poles (the globe is located diagonally), bright stripes appear. There are two such stripes – narrow at the beginning and wide at the end. They are formed by three multicolored lines: light blue, dark blue, and violet, which almost girdle the globe. Above and below are italicized inscriptions in Russian and English. They are in bold type.
