NGK Spark Plugs Logo

When the Japanese company Niterra was known as NGK Spark Plug Co. Ltd., its logo included that name. It was located under a horizontal gray line with a vertical line at the top. This vertical line served as a separator for two other inscriptions: “NGK SPARK PLUGS” and “NTK TECHNICAL CERAMICS .”All parts of the text, except for the two abbreviations, were colored black. The “NGK” part was highlighted in red, and “NTK” was highlighted in green.

The gray line is like a road, keeping everything level. The vertical line is like a traffic light pole, separating the two signs so you can tell what’s what. The colors make it easy to distinguish between the two abbreviations. Red is like a stop sign, making you stop and look, and green is like a forward sign, inviting you to learn more.
