The Otelier logo symbolizes harmony, innovation, and the pursuit of perfection, reflecting the project’s philosophy. It embodies the idea of creating interiors where every element becomes a work of art. The emblem conveys the company’s refinement and approach to developing solutions for those who value aesthetics and functionality. The brand began with the idea of combining the traditions of craftsmanship with modern technologies, and over the years has become a symbol of quality and creativity, offering unique interior elements that emphasize a space’s individuality.
Otelier traces its roots to 2015, when Ali Moloo founded myDigitalOffice, or MDO, in Bethesda, Maryland. The first cloud platform replaced paper night audits, emailed reports, and disconnected hotel systems with one digital interface. It gained clients among independent properties and major hotel groups, with hotel operations as its core market.
MDO expanded through acquisitions. In 2021, it bought Broadvine for budgeting and forecasting, followed by Focal Revenue Solutions for revenue analytics. Cove Hill Partners invested in January 2022. That June, MDO acquired Prague-based Datavision Technologies, whose clients included Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. In August, MDO ranked 608th on the Inc. 5000 after three years of 1,047% revenue growth.
In 2023, MDO added InTouch Data and HelloGM, strengthening data aggregation, financial reconciliation and back-office automation. Vic Chynoweth became CEO in July, while Moloo remained involved in product direction. The company rose to 378th on the Inc. 5000 in August.
On February 27, 2024, myDigitalOffice became Otelier, combining MDO, Datavision, InTouch, HelloGM, Focal Revenue Solutions and Broadvine. It launched IntelliSight, DigiAudit and TruePlan, serving over 10,000 hotels with more than 300 employees. Competitors included Actabl’s ProfitSword and M3 Insight. Rob Lawrence became CEO in December 2024. In April 2026, Stonebridge selected Otelier for back-office, planning,g and analytics across more than 160 hotels in 20 states.
