The Croatian crypto wallet Solflare, which was created during the surge in interest in blockchain technologies, has become one of the primary services in the Solana ecosystem in just a few years. Today, it serves more than 3 million active users per month and manages digital assets valued at approximately $20 billion.
The company decided to update its visual identity to move beyond the typical templates of cryptocurrency services and differentiate itself from many similar solutions. Solflare engaged the London studio Ragged Edge, which developed an identity that combines the aesthetics of classical finance with digital-era imagery.
The previous logo featured an abstract flare and a standard rendering of the name. The new version is based on Gothic typography inspired by banking documents of past centuries. The letters contain hints of a stylized dollar symbol, connecting the brand’s visual language with the history of finance, where trust was the main value.
One of the central images is the metaphor of a fortress. Solflare positions itself as a reliable vault where users’ funds are protected from market fluctuations. The slogan “Hold strong” reinforces this idea, emphasizing resilience and security.
Additional graphic materials support this concept. Illustrations of locks, shields, and crowns are rendered in the style of old monetary engravings but enhanced with 3D effects.
Instead of neutral gray and blue tones, a bright yellow shade is used. It conveys energy and, combined with black, creates a contrasting palette that works well in interfaces and advertising materials.
For text materials, the FK Grotesk typeface was chosen. It supports the modern rhythm of communication and ensures readability even in small formats. Its strict geometry balances the Gothic accents of the main logo.
The result of Ragged Edge’s work is a cohesive system that allows Solflare to present itself consistently across the mobile app, websites, and media. Illustrations, typography, and the color palette create a unified visual language that elevates the brand above the clichés of the cryptocurrency sector.
After the update, Solflare positions itself not only as a wallet for Solana tokens but also as a full-fledged financial service with a unique style. The company draws on tradition but operates in the digital space, where trust and reliability are just as important as transaction speed and efficiency.
