Marblex, a subsidiary of the Korean publisher Netmarble, has unveiled a new style and logo created by the Koto studio. The platform launched in 2022 as a project focused on Web3 games and blockchain-based digital assets. In a short time, the company grew into a major gaming ecosystem where the interests of players, developers, and digital services converged.
Over time, the brand faced a perception issue. It began to be associated primarily with NFTs, tokens, and the product’s complex technical aspects. As a result, the brand appeared cold and detached from the game itself. The Koto team shifted the focus. Instead of emphasizing mechanics, the platform began building its image around imagination, curiosity, and the joy of gameplay. The idea of a space where the primary value is the joy of playing took center stage.
The mascot Gobi became the key figure of the new identity. In gaming culture, such a character is associated with loot hunting, adventures, and lighthearted fun. Now Gobi accompanies users throughout the Marblex ecosystem and sets a livelier tone, steering the brand away from heavy digital jargon.
The logo has also undergone a complete transformation. The previous logo, with its techno-aesthetic, gradients, and sharp geometry, is a thing of the past. The new Marblex typography is built on soft, rounded letters reminiscent of cloud-like shapes from comics and Japanese animation. The foundation is the Maru Mega font by Grilli Type, which Koto adapted to the brand’s needs. As a result, the logo has become warmer, more playful, and more distinct from other companies’ logos in the blockchain space.
The brand’s primary color is a bright green, associated with the image of Gobi. It is complemented by black and gray. Even the Marblex tokens feature the character’s signature smile, making the brand identity more cohesive.
The update helped the company more clearly define the platform’s purpose. It is an environment that makes digital games more accessible and engaging for players and developers worldwide.
