Fratelli Beretta is a well-known Italian company that manufactures luxury meat and sausage products. The company specializes in smoked meats, ham, salami, bacon, and other delicacies. The company was founded in 1812 as a family business and has remained that way to this day. At first, it was a butcher’s shop, and then it became a large-scale enterprise. Its creator is Carlo Antonio Beretta. The headquarters is located in Trezzo sull’Adda (Barzanò).

The start of the meat processing company was laid long before 1812 because this was only the time of registration of the transfer of the family shop by inheritance. It was then that Carlo Antonio Beretta received a butcher shop from his father. In 1920, an Italian firm had a factory to produce dried pork. Since then, she has been very successful in business, and by 1950 her craft had grown to an industrial scale.

At the same time, the assortment of goods increased, the quality of products improved, and new production points were opened. In the middle of the 20th century, the success of these meat supermarkets increased further due to the emergence of packaged delicacies. In 1976, Fratelli Beretta opened Italy’s first sausage factory under the Wuber brand. In 1997, the company moved to conquer the world and gradually launched 17 industrial sites outside of Italy.

Throughout the time, she attached great importance to the marketing policy to gain popularity in the country and abroad. Such moves include a range of promotions, including the inclusion of the Italian trademark in the Guinness Book of Records as the producer of the largest ham in the world. The Fratelli Beretta logo follows the sectional shape of the signature sausages. This is a horizontally located oval, where the main information is concentrated: the name of the manufacturer and the year the company was founded. The central place is given to the names of the founders and owners – “Beretta.” It is a large white inscription with a slight darkening to the right of each letter. This adds contrast and three-dimensionality, so the word looks voluminous. In addition, each symbol in it is circled the perimeter with a golden line.

At the top is the first fragment of the company name – “Fratelli.” It means “brothers” in Italian. The text is semi-connected, typed in small italics. Like the second part of the name, this word consists of lowercase and uppercase white letters. But in this case, they have no edging. The bottom element is the year the company was founded. The numbers also have a slight slope, which repeats the style of the top inscription. Curls are depicted to the right and left of them on a monogram.

All elements are placed in a red oval, which denotes a sausage loaf in a section. It is surrounded by a white stripe, followed by a green line tapering down the sides. The capital “B” extends beyond the oval and touches the outer frame. The double letters “tt” are united by a common link.
