Meizu is a renowned manufacturer of multimedia players, music players, and mobile phones. It appeared in 2003 in China. They are owned by businessman Huang Zhang, nicknamed Jack Wong.

In the history of the brand, several logos reflect its image. These are inscriptions that differ only in the font.
2003 – 2015
The debut emblem was developed in 2003. It adorned early models of MP3 players. On the graphic sign, the letters were of uneven thickness – they narrowed from left to right. This version was found on smartphones made before PRO 5.
Also, there was an alternative version with hieroglyphs. It was developed by Jack Wong himself for the Chinese MX1 and M9. But since the manufacturer was planning to export the phones abroad, he abandoned the inscription in his native language.
2015 – present
In 2015, Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. introduced a new logo that is still in use today. The event was timed to coincide with the launch of the flagship smartphone PRO 5. Design Director Chris Chen said the company wanted to give the brand more warmth and humanity. The emblem got a simple look: the blue word “Meizu,” executed in a rounded sans serif font.
Font and Color of the Emblem
Graphic artists have relied on curved and flowing lines. Many corners are rounded. The individual font is unified: “M” resembles an inverted “E.” Bold light blue letters look harmonious on a white background. This color combination is often found in the IT industry, as it is associated with the latest technology, reliability, and security.
