A walk-with-the-dog-inspired Brazilian brand, Patta, launched its new identity. Sinop-based studio LOTIPA created a rounded wordmark with hints of tails, snouts, toys, and hearts built into the letters. LOTIPA unveiled the 2026 project on July 21.
Founded in 2025, Patta makes dog collars, harnesses, leashes, and charms. The brand sees walks as a time for owners and pets to connect. For owners, stepping outside offers a break from daily tasks and screen time. The accessories become part of their shared routines and complement owners’ clothing, linking pet products to urban culture.
LOTIPA sought to convey the joy of spending time with a dog through a playful identity for an adult audience. The phrase “Walk Mode On” supports the idea. In the wordmark, letters lean toward one another, suggesting the closeness of an owner and pet on a walk.
The logo began with hand-drawn sketches. The letters vary in angle, with rounded curves and strokes that thicken and narrow. The tops of the two “t” letters are elongated and bent, while the “P” has a large, rounded bowl. The lettering includes references to canine behavior.
According to LOTIPA, the two “t” letters resemble wagging tails, while the “P” references a play ball. Each “a” combines a dog’s snout with an upside-down heart. Its two rounded sections meet at the top, leaving an open notch below. The letterforms carry the themes of play and affection.
A standalone emblem based on the “a” was developed for avatars, stamps, and small brand signatures. One version places the dark letter inside a yellow square. The compact emblem preserves the shape used in the full wordmark. Fragments of the other letters became the basis for patterns and frames, extending the curves of tails, snouts, and hearts throughout the identity.
Yellow and a dark shade form the primary color combination. Additional frames resemble dog ID tags and hold photographs, messages, and product images. The accessory theme continues with the Barkz collection of interchangeable decorative charms for collars and harnesses. The logo appears on dog gear and owners’ clothing, bringing together items for their shared walks.
Antoniel Felainne, Lucas Oliveira, Alex Monteiro, and Ax Leandro handled design. Lukas Martins and Ax Leandro created the animation, and Aldenis Rodrigues wrote the copy. Max Silva coordinated the project.
