mythological god Logos and Brands
Brands that use images of mythological deities in their names or emblems are collected in the “Mythological God” section. Nike, named after the Greek goddess of victory, Hermes (in the context of logistics), with a reference to the messenger of the Olympic gods, Ajax, with the name of the hero of the Trojan War, and Trident, with the trident of Poseidon/Neptune, refer to ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Scandinavian, Hindu, and Egyptian deities also inspire trademark creators. Logos from this section borrow attributes of gods (wings, lightning bolts, tridents, scepters) to convey qualities associated with a particular deity, such as speed, strength, wisdom, or patronage.
