nasa Logos and Brands
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), founded in 1958, is located in the “NASA” section. Two of the agency’s iconic logos have gone down in design history. “Meatball” with a round emblem, stars, a red chevron, and an orbital line has been in use since 1959. The “Worm,” with minimalist NASA lettering, was in use from 1975 to 1992 and returned in 2020 for the Crew Dragon mission. The Apollo, Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and Artemis programs to return to the moon carry NASA’s visual identity, and the agency’s logo has become one of the most recognizable symbols of science and space exploration worldwide.
