peacekeeping Logos and Brands

Peacekeeping operations deployed to prevent and resolve armed conflicts define the Peacekeeping section. UN Peacekeeping, which has deployed more than two million military personnel from 125 countries since its first mission in 1948, is the most recognizable symbol of peacekeeping.

The African Union, with its AMISOM missions in Somalia, NATO with KFOR in Kosovo, and the OSCE with its observer missions, complements the international peacekeeping architecture. The logos in this section feature symbols such as olive branches, blue shields, and globes, and the brands represent organizations that deploy soldiers and observers to areas where a third-party presence maintains a ceasefire.
