Statesboro Logos and Brands
The city of Statesboro, Georgia, home to Georgia Southern University, defines the “Statesboro” section. The Georgia Southern Eagles’ athletic teams, which compete in the Sun Belt Conference, define this city of about 35,000 people. Six FCS national football championships (before moving to FBS in 2014) cemented the university’s reputation as a small-division football powerhouse. Statesboro is also known as the birthplace of the “Statesboro Blues” blues tradition, immortalized by Blind Willie McTell and The Allman Brothers Band. This section collects logos and visual symbols of the compact university town in southeastern Georgia.
