Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Rimac, and SSC occupy the top of the automotive pyramid, and the “Supercars” section features the logos of manufacturers that build cars at the limits of engineering. Supercars accelerate to 300 kilometers per hour and above, cost from several hundred thousand to several million dollars, and are produced in runs of tens or hundreds of units. Unlike the more broadly defined “Sports Cars” section, this section focuses on the top of the pyramid, where each model claims to be a speed record holder or an engineering masterpiece. The logos of supercar manufacturers feature the surnames of their founders, heraldic shields, and national symbols, conveying a sense of craftsmanship and limited production.
