West Point Logos and Brands
The United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, America’s oldest continuously operating military academy, defines the content of the “West Point” section. Founded in 1802, the academy has trained Ulysses S. Grant, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur, and thousands of other US Army officers. The Black Knights’ athletic teams compete in NCAA Division I, and the emblem, featuring a Gothic helmet and sword, reflects the institution’s military mission. The academy’s logo, with its motto “Duty, Honor, Country” and heraldic eagle, carries the weight of two centuries of institutional authority. Brands in this section represent organizations whose visual identity is linked to the history of the US armed forces and the training of the country’s military elite.
