The ThyssenKrupp emblem features an arch resembling the letter “A .”This element was originally used in the emblem of August Thyssen-Hütte AG and represents the name of its founder. The arch is combined with three crossing rings, which resemble the famous Olympic symbol, although they actually appeared much earlier – in 1875. They are stylized versions of railway tires invented by Alfred Krupp. After the merger of Thyssen AG and Krupp, their graphic signs were combined and supplemented with the name of the newly formed conglomerate. The inscription consists of straight lowercase letters in blue.
