Trellis Health, which began operating in the spring of 2025 and gained attention among women for its approach to storing family medical data, has introduced a new design. The service is built around a simple logic. The app collects users’ medical information from the past 10 years, consolidating records from thousands of clinics. It then generates structured summaries, forecasts, and recommendations from doctors and midwives, available on a smartphone. Users receive a complete picture of their family’s health without pressure or unnecessary anxiety.
The previous Trellis logo resembled a sketch. Four corner arrows forming an abstract shape were associated with a DNA fragment enclosed in brackets. The mark looked neat, but it conveyed a sense of distance and technicality. The new symbol feels warmer and more human. It is based on a fingerprint, with a thin letter T embedded inside.
The new typeface features fluidity and detail. The tall R, the E with a similar form, the distinctive I, and the balanced S create a cohesive and memorable wordmark.
The app’s verbal style has also changed. It is oriented toward the communication style used by midwives. The language is direct, calm, and honest, without escalation. The information delivery system is designed to ensure complex medical data is presented clearly and without overload.
Taken together, these changes transformed Trellis from a functional but impersonal tool into a service centered on family health care. The brand appears aligned with its stated goals and helps people treat the most important aspect of life with care, the health of their loved ones.
