Argentinian news channel A24 updated its corporate identity and presented the audience with a logo featuring a more rigorous design. The channel is well-known to viewers in Argentina for its round-the-clock news reporting and event analysis. The new style emphasizes accuracy in information delivery and meets the demands of modern television broadcasting.
Previously, the A24 logo consisted of the letter “A” depicted with a slanted effect, using gradients of red and gray colors. The design aimed to appear modern, but the intersection of letters complicated perception. The number “24” was colored in gray and poorly distinguished against the background, impairing readability.
The updated version of the logo is now more rigorous. The letters “A” and the numbers “2” and “4” are each placed inside separate red squares. The lettering has become clear and recognizable.
The previous logo combined rounded lines with angular shapes, resulting in a visually unbalanced design. The new font is even and geometric, making it easier to read at any size.
Gradients and gray tones have been discarded. A red-and-white palette is used. The red background conveys the immediacy of news, while white letters enhance contrast.
The new design is built upon a modular grid of three squares containing the symbols “A,” “2,” and “4,” creating a stable composition. This is convenient for various content formats, including static and animated images.
Updating the logo’s design, A24 has reaffirmed its reputation as a reliable news source.
