Air Cambodia unveiled a new logo and updated its aircraft livery at a ceremony on January 15, 2026, at Techo International Airport in Phnom Penh. The change in appearance is linked to a previous rebranding, during which Cambodia Angkor Air adopted the name Air Cambodia.
The mark is based on the image of the giant ibis (Tror Yorng), Cambodia’s national bird. In the logo, the design is stylized as an abstract depiction of 18 feathers resembling the blades of aircraft turbines. The bird’s head is shown with its beak raised, emphasizing growth, movement, and prospects.
The company name appears in two versions. A Khmer inscription appears at the top, with the English name AIR CAMBODIA placed below. The Khmer text is set in a traditional typeface, while the English text is set in a strict, uppercase typeface. The design points to the carrier’s national character while also accommodating an international format.
The new aircraft livery is executed in royal blue with elements of red, gold, and white, creating a connection to national culture and traditions. The company intends to gradually update all symbolism across its aircraft, web resources, and printed materials to ensure a smooth transition.
The logo update is tied to Air Cambodia’s long-term strategy to develop international routes and expand its fleet. The company has already acquired three ATR72-600 aircraft and signed major contracts for the purchase of Boeing 737 MAX 8 and COMAC C909 jets. The airline has demonstrated steady financial growth since 2023 and continues to develop despite a challenging geopolitical environment.
The company’s partner in India is the Aeroprime Group, which handles sales of passenger and cargo transportation. It supports Air Cambodia’s new initiatives and plans to strengthen cooperation to increase traffic between Cambodia and India.
The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia positively assessed the rebranding and the company’s development, noting that the new logo reflects the country’s aspiration to expand its influence in aviation and tourism. In 2025, the Cambodian aviation market showed growth. Thirty-six airlines operated in the country, flying to 52 cities. The number of passengers during this period increased to 7 million, exceeding the previous year’s figures.
