Carlos Alcaraz Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Carlos Alcaraz Logo

Nike is close to creating its own logo for tennis player Carlos Alcaraz. A new filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office appeared on the eve of the Australian Open 2026, and both fans and sports industry experts are closely watching it.

The presented mark consists of the letters C and A connected by a single continuous line without breaks. The left side resembles a calligraphic C with a smooth, wide stroke. The right side forms an A by continuing the same line and closing into a unified shape. The continuity and flow of the lines convey speed and individuality, emphasizing the connection to tennis and Alcaraz’s style of play.

The application covers a wide range of apparel, including footwear, headwear, T-shirts, and jackets, as well as bracelets, backpacks, and sports bags. This practice is not new for brands, which often file documents in advance to secure a symbol before the official product release.

Previously, the company made a similar move with Jannik Sinner’s logo, releasing a collection for the 2024 ATP Finals. Many expected the same for Alcaraz at the ATP Finals 2025, but those expectations were not met. The tennis player later denied the rumors, stating that the development process is still ongoing and not yet complete.

Since the retirements of Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams, Nike has not often pleased fans with its new tennis collections. At the moment, only Naomi Osaka has a unique collection, while individual items are available for Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka, and Jannik Sinner. Fans and experts believe that the launch of a personal mark for Alcaraz could signal renewed activity from Nike Tennis.

In the near future, the market expects further steps from the company and from Alcaraz himself that will confirm or deny whether the new mark will become the player’s official symbol.
