Nikki Haley’s logo was unveiled on the same day she announced her intention to run for president in 2024, namely February 14, 2023. Traditionally, the candidate’s first and last name are centered. They are written together but separated by color: the first word in blue, the second in bright red. An interesting detail is a break in the crossbar of the letter “A,” which makes the horizontal stroke not reach the left diagonal. Joseph Biden used a similar design technique in his 2020 emblem, but Haley managed to execute it more elegantly.
The second line contains the phrase “FOR PRESIDENT” in uppercase and sans-serif font. To make the small text easy to read, the designers increased the distance between the letters. Thin and short horizontal lines are drawn both on the right and on the left, filling the empty space and thus balancing the logo.
