Our Kids’ Climate Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Our Kids' Climate Logo New

The international organization Our Kids’ Climate, which brings together families and communities in the fight against climate change, has introduced a new identity. The rebrand reflects the effort to make the movement’s visual image more energetic and accessible to its audience.

The previous logo was restrained and did not convey the scale of the organization’s activity. The new mark, created by the studio In Progress, is based on the abbreviation OKC. In the graphics, the letters “OK” form the figure of a child jumping over the letter “C.” The entire composition symbolizes overcoming obstacles and striving for a future free of threats to children’s health and safety.

Our Kids' Climate Logo Evolution

The designers moved away from traditional environmental imagery, such as leaves or weather symbols. The focus is on a positive message: children are at the center, and the organization’s work is aimed at creating conditions for their full development.

The color system is built around soft orange as the primary shade. It is associated with warmth and openness. Complementary colors are presented in gradients transitioning from green to blue. The palette emphasizes inclusivity and the unifying nature of the movement, while allowing flexible use in digital environments.

For the text, the Muoto typeface from the 205tf studio was chosen. Its geometric and energetic style makes communication clear, and its versatility allows it to be used effectively in both headlines and body text.

In addition to the logo and typeface, the identity includes a set of icons. They reflect the organization’s key areas of focus, including scholarships, microgrants, educational initiatives, local community engagement, and campaigns. Despite their abstract style, the icons integrate easily into visual materials and form a cohesive system.

The new design helps Our Kids’ Climate move away from the dramatic imagery often associated with the climate change theme. The organization communicates hope, action, and engagement. The movement is appealing to families who want to be part of the solution.

Today, the updated visual language is used in online communication, printed materials, and educational programs. It helps the organization build trust and create a space where families from different countries feel part of a shared effort.

The new style underscores the mission of Our Kids’ Climate: uniting people for the sake of future generations and inspiring concrete steps to protect the planet.
