Semrush Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Semrush Logo New

The update to Semrush’s brand identity coincided with changes in how the platform operates. Previously, the company was most often associated with SEO and search results. Now, its scope of work is broader. Users no longer exclusively search for brands on Google or other search engines. AI-powered responses, social media, and various platforms where brand visibility is also shaped have been integrated into the workflow. Against the backdrop of these changes, Semrush is positioning itself as a comprehensive system for analyzing online presence, bringing together data, content, and competitor monitoring.

Semrush Logo Evolution

Over the past 17+ years, the company has grown from a keyword-tracking service into a major platform with a range of search and analytics tools. This new phase is linked to changing user habits. People are searching for information across various channels, and older promotional methods no longer yield the same results. Because of this, Semrush is changing its brand positioning and updating its visual identity.

The Semrush logo has been redesigned quite significantly. The previous version was based on a circle and separate parts that formed the image of a comet. Now, a single, right-pointing shape is used instead. It resembles an arrow or an elongated trail. The front is rounded, while the back has three sharp points. There are no divisions within; the entire figure appears as a single silhouette.

The color has changed from bright orange to black. The symbol looks better in interfaces and on various digital platforms. The main emphasis is now on shape rather than internal contrast.

The SEMRUSH lettering remains in uppercase, but the letters have also been redesigned. The spacing has been increased, making the word appear more open. The stroke thickness has been standardized, so the lettering looks lighter.

The update began rolling out across the company’s digital platforms in March 2026, alongside interface changes. Through its new identity, Semrush is signaling a shift from a collection of individual services to a more cohesive system that helps brands navigate a landscape where search is distributed across channels and formats.
