Worldwide Logos and Brands
Brands with global reach, operating on all continents and serving audiences in hundreds of countries, are collected in the “Worldwide” section. Coca-Cola, sold in more than 200 countries; McDonald’s, with 40,000 restaurants worldwide; Google; Visa; and Unilever have reached a scale where their logos are recognizable from Tokyo to Buenos Aires. The word “worldwide” in a name or slogan (HSBC’s “The World’s Local Bank,” WWE’s “World Wrestling Entertainment”) signals global ambitions. The logos in this section belong to corporations whose presence on the world map is measured not by individual export shipments, but by operations with local states, production facilities, and advertising campaigns in dozens of markets simultaneously.
