Walkers opens the year with a large-scale identity refresh and, for the first time in several decades, fully revises its familiar visual image. The mark is built around a rich yellow circle associated with a sun disk. Thin rays extend from a central point, creating a sense of warmth and a friendly mood. A red band with the white Walkers wordmark runs across the composition. The letters are soft, rounded, and slightly slanted, giving a friendly and open impression.
Alongside the updated mark, the Hot Honey flavor was added to the range on January 12. The chips combine sweet and spicy notes and are released in six-pack multipacks with a target price of about £2.15. The new product continues the Flavors of the World line launched a year earlier with the Sticky Teriyaki and Chicken Masala variants.
The next major stage is scheduled for January 26. On that day, the four-week Golden Potato promotion begins. Multipacks include golden tickets that give a chance to win one of 500,000 prizes, including cash awards of up to £10,000.
Earlier this month, the Oven Baked range expanded with the Slow Roasted Beef and Sun Dried Tomato & Basil flavors. The series received a 150-gram pack format for shared consumption for the first time. Active advertising support and a renaming of the reduced-salt line are planned for February. It will be presented under the name Walkers Lightly while retaining the reduced-salt designation.
