The Brazilian platform Cubo Itaú marked its tenth anniversary with a complete rebranding. The anniversary marked the beginning of a new phase. The hub now presents itself not as a physical space but as a large ecosystem where startups, companies, and investors collaborate on business projects and technological initiatives.
The new identity was developed by the studios Colírio Design and QNCO. It is based on the idea of a living network of connections that evolves alongside its participants and communication formats. The entire system is composed of modular elements suitable for various channels and scenarios. It includes a logo, icons, animations, and interface details.
The main symbol of the change is the new logo. The name “cubo” now has a more angular and geometric design. The lowercase letters have gained sharpness from their cut corners and retained their black color. Next to it is the Itaú bank logo, an orange square with white lettering. It is now positioned slightly below the main text, making the entire composition look more cohesive.
The previous Cubo logo was based on soft shapes and rounded lines. The new version looks more austere and powerful. The design now conveys a greater sense of internal cohesion, better reflecting the platform’s business profile and its mission in the field of innovation.
The name Cubo itself is associated with the shape of a cube and refers to the idea of connecting different aspects of entrepreneurship and technological development. Itaú Bank created the platform as a space for sharing experiences and fostering the growth of Brazil’s tech industry. Over time, Cubo Itaú has become one of the most influential players in the local innovation market.
The rebranding coincided with the team’s desire to convey the platform’s essence more accurately. Cubo Itaú presents itself as a collaborative environment open to new ideas and teamwork. The new visual identity effectively conveys this direction and reinforces the platform’s ambition to remain a hub for business and innovation.
