The Enterprise Mobility logo represents a company that started as a small initiative and grew into a large car rental network. The founder’s experience and desire to offer practical travel solutions, from a few vehicles to convenient service, underpinned everything.

Enterprise Mobility: Brand overview

Enterprise Mobility began in St. Louis in 1957, when Jack Taylor founded Executive Leasing Company with seven cars. Drawing on his experience as a Cadillac salesman, he focused on customers who needed temporary transportation while their vehicles were serviced. In 1962, the business adopted the name Enterprise Rent-A-Car in honor of the USS Enterprise, where Taylor had served during World War II.

The first branch outside Missouri opened in Atlanta in 1969. During the 1970s, the company developed a neighborhood rental model instead of relying on airport traffic. By 1980, its fleet reached 6,000 vehicles, and an internal promotion system moved entry-level employees into management. Annual revenue passed $1 billion in 1989, and airport expansion followed in the early 1990s.

International growth began in Canada in 1994. The “We’ll Pick You Up” campaign arrived in 1995 and became associated with the brand. In 2007, the company acquired Vanguard Car Rental Group for $3.9 billion, adding National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car. The parent business adopted the Enterprise Holdings name in 2009 and expanded further in Europe from 2011.

By 2012, the group operated more than one million vehicles in 70 countries. Enterprise CarShare launched in 2013, followed by expansion across Asia-Pacific from 2015 to 2019. The 2019 purchase of Deem strengthened its corporate travel services. By 2022, the company managed more than 2.1 million vehicles through over 10,000 rental locations worldwide.

Enterprise Holdings Logo 2009

The Enterprise Holdings logo, used until 2023, conveyed austerity, balance, and minimalism. The company’s name was divided into “ENTERPRISE” and “HOLDINGS,” emphasizing its two areas of work: providing quality service and project management.

The blue color “ENTERPRISE” was associated with confidence and stability, emphasizing the company’s reliability in the transport sector. The gray shade of “HOLDINGS” added professionalism and business spirit.

The vertical line between the words had an orange accent at the top, bringing energy and dynamism to the austere design. The color orange symbolizes development and forward movement. The line served as a visual axis, connecting all the elements of the emblem.

The font is sans serif, modern, and technologically styled. “HOLDINGS” looked wider, creating a sense of openness, while “ENTERPRISE” was compact, emphasizing the brand’s essence.

The logo combined austerity with bright accents, reflecting the company’s stability, desire to develop, and willingness to adapt to change.

Enterprise Mobility Logo

The modern, updated logo reflects the company’s rebranding, renamed Enterprise Mobility. The design uses bright green and dark blue, symbolizing mobility and environmental responsibility.

The logo is based on the lowercase letter “e” with a unique shape. Its intersecting lines create a loop resembling a road or route, emphasizing traffic and transport services. The letter’s bright green color reflects a desire for environmental friendliness and development.

The letter’s lines are smooth and clear, balancing modernity and professionalism. The design adds energy to the symbol and emphasizes the innovative approach.

The text part is made in dark blue, symbolizing stability and reliability. The font, similar to Regeneration and Environ, has been improved to make it unique. The simple style, with slight rounding, makes the text accessible.

The name “Enterprise Mobility” reflects the company’s key areas: mobility, adaptation, and the provision of modern transport solutions. The word “Mobility” emphasizes flexibility and innovation.

The combination of green and blue colors enhances the brand image. Green conveys energy and environmental responsibility, and blue emphasizes professionalism. The contrast creates a harmonious image that combines technology and responsibility.
