They never published the exact launch year. Their first product was an artillery template for home play, made with laser-cutting equipment. Interest from other players led to orders through social media and PayPal, followed by the opening of FatherandSonGaming.org.
The workshop later added paint racks, miniature bases, markers, storage tools, and 28 mm buildings for historical wargames. Henry operated the laser cutter, prepared products, and packed orders while attending school. Jason handled design, customer communication, and shipping. The business remained small and family-run, with no public figures for revenue, investment, or staff.
Father and Son Gaming later worked with Danish designer Per Ravn of Ravenloth Designs, whose building plans expanded the terrain range. The company sponsored Bolt Action tournaments across the United States with prizes, products, and gift certificates. In 2024, it presented materials connected with new rules and missions at Origins, while competing with Litko Game Accessories and Sarissa Precision.
By 2025, Henry was 17 and preparing for college. Equipment problems and production costs made daily operations harder to continue. On April 4, 2025, Jason and Henry announced that the store would pause sales, clear remaining stock, and consider offers to purchase the business.
