Women’s football is officially heading to Brazil. FIFA presented the brand of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, choosing the iconic Copacabana for the launch. The event in Rio became a celebration of sport and culture, unveiling the new emblem, slogan, and sound identity of the future tournament.
At the center of the logo sits the championship’s golden trophy, the main focal point and conceptual core. It is shown in large, detailed detail, with a metallic sheen. Behind the trophy are two geometric shapes built from the letters “W” and “M”. The upper symbol reads as a W, referencing women and the event’s global scale. The lower shape, inverted, becomes an M, emphasizing visual symmetry and the interaction of elements. Together, their forms create a metaphor of dialogue and equality.
The typography beneath the emblem is restrained and concise. The championship name is split across lines, with the word FIFA set apart to emphasize the tournament’s status. The Brazil 2027 designation sets the event’s location and timing without altering the emblem’s symbolism. The color palette is limited to gold and black, reinforcing the mark’s official tone.
The tournament slogan “GO EPIC” invites fans to experience a one-of-a-kind football celebration. The musical identity is built around samba rhythms and Afro-Brazilian heritage, aiming to emotionally unite fans inside stadiums and beyond.
The brand presentation took place in a festival-like atmosphere and featured appearances by stars of women’s and men’s football, underscoring the event’s global significance. The championship will become the first FIFA women’s tournament on the continent and marks a new chapter in football history. Prominent figures from world football are involved in the preparations, underscoring the event’s importance to Brazil and the global football community.
