Mostai Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Mostai Logo

In 2025, Mostai, a new padel club, opened in Vilnius. The project’s creators rejected the traditional model of a closed, membership-based community and opted for an open environment that combines sports with relaxation, socializing, and family leisure. In addition to the courts, the club will feature children’s activities, movie screenings, communal dinners, and a physical therapy room.

The name is taken from a colloquial Lithuanian word describing a light flick of the racket during a shot. It perfectly captures the club’s free-spirited, relaxed atmosphere, where padel exists not as an end in itself, but as part of a broader experience of leisure and socializing.

Mostai Emblem

The Lithuanian studio created the brand identity for Mostai. The project’s creators moved away from the usual sports clichés and rigid aesthetics, proposing a more subtle and cultured image. The history of padel served as a source of inspiration. The game originated in Mexico in the 1960s and later gained popularity at Spanish resorts on the Costa del Sol in the 1970s. From there came the mood of a leisurely Mediterranean vacation, which is reflected in nostalgic illustrations and ornaments with a touch of 1970s aesthetics.

The letter M became the central symbol, transformed into the fluid motion of a racket. The design is soft, lively, and energetic, yet without the aggressiveness typical of many sports brands. The logo exists in two versions. The first is based on capital letters, subtle contrast, and Art Deco details. It looks sleek and elegant, almost like the logo of a luxury hotel or jewelry house. The second version is in cursive. It conveys more freedom, airiness, and associations with travel and active recreation.

Mostai Symbol

The typography evokes old sports posters and travel postcards, giving the brand a vintage feel and a friendly vibe. The colors reinforce this tone. They are warm, with a southern flair, inviting visitors to linger at the club. The entire brand identity, from signage and interior design to promotional materials and events, is integrated into a cohesive system. As a result, Mostai doesn’t look like just another sports facility, but rather a place where people come to play, socialize, and enjoy their free time.
